With over 20 years of experience as a business lawyer, Oana is one of the most experienced M&A and energy & natural resources practitioners in Romania, and renowned for successfully steering some of the largest and most complex projects in the country to completion.

She regularly assists clients operating in the sectors that are most highly regulated, where compliance with the law and applicable regulations is most critical, most closely-monitored, and most strictly enforced, and she is widely known and respected for her significant contributions to the drafting of Romanian laws regulating a broad range of industries.

Oana routinely advises clients on complicated and strategic matters involving C-suite decision making and is recognized by clients and peers alike for the quality and practicality of her advice.

Oana is a Board Member of Black Sea Oil & Gas since December 2024.

Due to her exceptional legal and advocacy expertise, Oana was the Chairman of the General Legislation Subject Matter Experts Group of The Romanian Black Sea Titleholders Association from 2012 until it’s dissolution in 2021. Since early 2022, Oana has been acting Chairman of the Offshore Committee of Energy Employer’s Federation and became a Board Member in November 2025.

In January 2024, Oana was appointed Board Member of the Romanian Wind Energy Association.

In June 2023, Oana was elected Board Member of the Council of The Association of Romanian Bars for a tenure of 4 years.

Since 2021, Oana acts as Board Member and Secretary General of the Friends of the National Museum of Art of Romania.

Closest to Oana’s heart is her appointment as Board Member of Hospice Casa Sperantei in April 2024.

In 2024, Oana was recognized a Forbes Personality of the Year in Romania, and in 2025 and 2026 Forbes named her one of country’s 50 Most Influential Women in Business.

Oana holds an LL.M from the Business Law Faculty of Nicolae Titulescu University and an Energy MBA from Bucharest University of Economic Studies.
